The carrier supplies the calling service
In DialBreeze’s current production model, the customer connects a Telnyx account and authorized outgoing numbers. Telnyx supplies and bills the carrier services under that account. DialBreeze supplies the browser calling workflow and after-call toolkit.
DialBreeze does not resell minutes or add a per-dial software charge. “Unlimited dialing” describes that software billing choice, not free carrier service or permission to ignore DNC, quiet hours and attempt caps.
Twilio bring-your-own-key support is planned rather than live. A buyer who requires a different provider now should not treat a roadmap item as an available integration.
Account ownership is not ownership of every data location
Your own account gives the responsible customer access to the carrier relationship and its authorized configuration. Confirm who in the business manages the numbers, service settings, credentials and billing.
That does not mean every application record, recording or AI output is physically stored in the carrier account or on the customer’s hardware. Software data handling is a separate question. Confirm required storage, processor, retention and export arrangements before uploading production data.
Use the supported onboarding method for credentials. Do not paste keys into a public form or a support screenshot. The privacy notice explains the distinction without inventing a hosting architecture or data-processing agreement.
The transparent comparison is the complete cost
A separately billed carrier account lets the customer inspect its actual carrier charges rather than assuming that all calling cost is represented by a software seat. That is a billing distinction, not proof that it is always the cheapest arrangement.
Compare the same operator count, calling destinations, usage assumptions, number inventory and period. Include required software, carrier services, support and any additional workflow tools. For a bundled alternative, request the corresponding configuration and its usage terms.
Do not invent a universal minute tariff or savings multiplier. The relevant number is the current quote or statement for the account and services the team will actually use.
Give the account owner a concrete checklist
Confirm the authorized outgoing numbers, intended identity and supported connection setup. Establish who can make a number change and who can contact the carrier when a call-path issue occurs.
Ask the provider about any required verification and the actual charges for the selected services. Keep carrier identity attestation separate from caller-ID labeling and delivery guarantees. The attestation guide covers that distinction.
Maintain a support path with permitted call references and timestamps. A focused incident report is more useful than sending credentials or an entire prospect list. Use the reputation guide when the observed issue concerns a display or label.
Owning the account also means operating it
The business needs someone to manage billing, authorized users and configuration changes. That person should understand what the software team can investigate and what requires a carrier account action.
A managed or bundled alternative may suit a team that prefers a different support arrangement. Do not dismiss that convenience simply because the bill is packaged differently. Confirm the actual ownership and escalation terms for each option rather than assuming one provider handles every problem.
For DialBreeze, a human provisions the software account and emails access and Telnyx connection instructions. Same-business-day provisioning is a target, not an instant-activation guarantee. Carrier setup and a usable operator workstation still need verification.
Do not assume number or record portability
Before moving from another service, confirm the rights and process for any numbers the business wants to retain. Do not release or cancel the old configuration on the assumption that every number is automatically portable.
Separately review lead records, restrictions, recordings and open next steps. A carrier move does not transfer every application record. Confirm supported exports, imports and any retention requirements with the relevant providers.
Use synthetic data in the sandbox evaluation and plan the production transition deliberately. Keep an accountable owner for restrictions and outstanding callbacks so a billing change does not erase the operational handoff.
Choose the separation when it fits the team
DialBreeze’s monthly software plans are Solo at $49 per operator seat, Team at $149 for three operators and Studio at $399 with the operator setup sized at onboarding. All include the same calling and after-call AI features; seats and support differ.
Choose the arrangement when the customer-owned carrier model and demonstrated workflow fit. Do not choose it on an assumption of free minutes, guaranteed number reputation or automatic integrations.
Review the full pricing and setup page and use the comparison directory to investigate alternatives by their actual configurations. The best billing model is the one your team understands and can operate responsibly.
